  Very slow to act on my car. Early on I told them this was an urgent matter and they assured me it would be dealt with appropriately. It was 2 weeks before I heard from them and still nothing had been done. I wanted to transfer my car elsewhere but they assured me it would be given priority. Unless "other problems are found". Lo and behold other problems were found which would increase costs and time.
  
  10 weeks later I still have no car.
  
  I was told by a 5 star repairer that Alexander Body Works routinely add work late in the job when everything can be identified upon recieving the vehicle.
  
  Insurers beware. Owners beware. If they can't give you a final cost within 24 hours, they are having you on. They are stretching their books.
  
  Do NOT go with Alexander Body Works. Demand a final repair cost within 24 hours or you'll take the car somewhere else.
