- Al Shield Added December 28, 2018★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Come and gone through twice and the only drama was the angry woman behind the Qantas desk today, making us feel like we were getting scolded at high school again because thanks to extensive roadworks and heavy traffic, we arrived 6 mins late. It happens, we apologized, we still got scolded - what fun!
The other staff including the ones at the gate were lovely though.
We would have happily checked in the night before if their sms link to pick your seat actually worked. Security told me I couldn't fly with a wallet multitool that has a worldwide airline approval on it. Security told me that Australia doesn't fit into that category.. Australia is not part of the world? Lol priceless. The guy gave me half an hour to get somebody to come and pick it up. Went for smoko 10 mins later and "disposed of it". Ha ha Ten bucks says he has it in his wallet. Enjoy opening beers with my multitool security man. :)
