They have a high failure rate hence why at shopping centres and stores that have them installed you see them blinking or off completely due to the motherboard or "driver" inside the bulb shorting out, halogen bulbs are the best they give a great colour and seem to last forever.

Stock is always good, rarely have to order in. The reason I have a 4 stat is I would like to see Beacon start to stock Smart bulbs. I was told by a staff member that they aren't stocking them because the technology is still evolving. Beacon may be left behind as people trunk to online to buy as I did.
